Academic Profile
Professor ‘Demola Jolayemi is a German trained Professor of English and Digitised Linguistics. He started his university teaching in 1995 in the Department of Modern European Languages, now known as the Department of English of the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria; where he obtained his first PhD in English Language.
He has also had opportunities to lecture in the Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Nigeria, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria, and Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, also in Ondo State. He also taught courses in Acoustic Phonetics and Literary Poetics in the University of Technology, Chemnitz, Germany, where he obtained his second PhD in English Linguistics, which ended in cum laude.
